QnR Group participated in the IBM Partner Ecosystem Summit, held on 8 July at Asteria Glyfada, presenting how it transforms its strategic collaboration with the IBM ecosystem into operational transformation, highlighting the critical role of advanced technological solutions in the new era of digital transformation.
The event featured Dimosthenis Georgakopoulos, Group CCO Private Sector at QnR, who presented the Group’s strategic approach to the IBM software portfolio and the opportunities created for organizations and businesses through solutions such as IBM Maximo, IBM Business Automation Workflow, IBM App Connect Enterprise and watsonx.
Mr. Georgakopoulos emphasized that, for QnR Group, investing in the IBM ecosystem is not a decision linked to a single product, but a strategic business choice with a direct impact on the Group’s growth path. As he noted, the Group chooses to invest in technology ecosystems that can support critical digital transformation projects with high requirements in reliability, security and long-term scalability.
The Group’s collaboration with IBM began in the field of Enterprise Asset Management through IBM Maximo and gradually evolved into one of the pillars of the Group’s own transformation. This development has shaped a broader framework of technological solutions covering business process automation, interoperability of information systems, data management and the use of artificial intelligence.
This evolution also reflects QnR Group’s own journey: from implementing individual software solutions to designing integrated offerings that combine infrastructure, business processes, data and artificial intelligence, with the aim of helping organizations operate more efficiently, more flexibly and with better use of information.
Particular emphasis was placed on the value created for customers, as digital transformation is now moving beyond the simple digitization of processes towards the creation of truly “intelligent” organizations. Mr. Georgakopoulos underlined that the real value for customers lies in the way the capabilities of the IBM portfolio are combined into a unified architecture, enabling organizations to manage their infrastructure and assets more effectively, automate complex processes, securely connect heterogeneous systems and leverage artificial intelligence for faster and higher-quality decision-making.
According to him, in the coming years, the greatest opportunities for customers will emerge where artificial intelligence makes use of reliable business data and becomes embedded in organizations’ daily operations. This translates into greater productivity, a shift from reactive problem management to predictive operations, better resource utilization and higher-quality services for citizens and customers.
QnR Group sees its role as that of a strategic technology partner that transforms technological capabilities into measurable business results, both for itself and for its customers. Its collaboration with IBM is a key driver of this transformation, further strengthening the Group’s position in critical areas such as Enterprise Asset Management, Business Automation, Systems Integration, Data-driven Operations and Artificial Intelligence.
QnR Group’s participation in the IBM event confirms its strategic direction of continuously investing in leading technology ecosystems, with the aim of further strengthening its own business and delivering integrated digital transformation solutions that create meaningful and lasting value for its customers.
